Hui (Ariel) Chen is a talented pianist and a second-year DMA student in Piano Performance at the University of Minnesota.
She stands out for both her academic excellence and musical accomplishments.
Ariel completed her Master’s degree in just one year—a rare and impressive achievement. During her first year as a doctoral student, she won first prize in both the Schubert Club Student Scholarship Competition and the Mechelke Student Scholarship Competition. She currently studies under Professor Alexander Braginsky.
Like many adult students pursuing a professional music career, Ariel has successfully met rigorous academic and performance standards. Her determination and discipline reflect the same values she brings to her teaching.
Ariel currently offers personalized piano lessons in Edina, Bloomington, and Richfield, welcoming students of all ages and levels.
