Hyein Choi is a versatile pianist recognized for her work as a soloist, collaborative pianist, and chamber orchestra musician.
Her expressive performances and broad musical background distinguish her as a dedicated and accomplished artist.
Hyein began studying piano at age four and soon earned recognition through numerous piano competition wins in Korea. She graduated from Sunhwa Arts High School and received her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. She later moved to the U.S. to earn her Master’s degree from Indiana University and a Doctorate in Piano Performance from the University of Minnesota.
With over a decade of teaching experience, Hyein is passionate about helping students of all ages and skill levels grow musically. She adapts her teaching style to meet each student’s needs, creating a thoughtful, encouraging learning environment that builds confidence and musical ability.
Hyein currently offers personalized piano lessons for students in Edina, Bloomington, and Richfield.
