Piano Lessons FAQ – Naji Piano School in Edina

1. How Much Do Piano Lessons Cost?

After your free trial lesson (20–30 minutes), you can choose between 30, 45, or 60-minute sessions. Our standard lesson rates are:

• 30 minutes: $50 per session

• 45 minutes: $70 per session

• 60 minutes: $90 per session

We also offer a sibling discount: two children can take back-to-back lessons for $90.

2. How Does Payment Work?

After your free trial, if you decide to continue, you’ll receive a monthly invoice at the start of each month. Payment is due before your first lesson of the new month to reserve your spot. If you cancel a lesson with more than 24 hours’ notice, credits can be applied toward your next invoice.

3. Can I Use a Keyboard for Piano Lessons?

Yes, you can start with a keyboard. We recommend using one with weighted, standard-size keys to best simulate the feel of an acoustic piano. As you progress, having a weighted keyboard or acoustic piano will help strengthen your technique and provide a more authentic experience.

4. What If My Child Is Ill and I Need to Cancel?

We understand that life happens. To respect our instructors’ time, especially since they often travel to students’ homes, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible. We always aim to be flexible and understanding in special situations.

5. Where Will the Lessons Be Held?

You can take lessons at our Edina studio or choose the convenience of in-home lessons in Bloomington, Richfield, or Minneapolis. Many families love the flexibility of learning at home, while others enjoy coming to our studio environment.

6. What Age Groups Do You Teach?

We welcome students of all ages — from young beginners as young as 3 years old to adults and even seniors in their 80s. Whether you’re just starting your musical journey or refining advanced skills, our experienced teachers will guide you every step of the way.

7. Do You Offer Lessons for Adults?

Absolutely! Many adults join us as complete beginners, while others return to piano after years away. Our teachers design lessons around your schedule, goals, and musical interests. It’s never too late to learn!

8. Will My Child Have a Chance to Perform?

Yes. Every year, we host a beautiful student recital, where children and adults can share their progress in a supportive, family-friendly environment. Participation is encouraged but never required.
